Short-stalked Damselfly (?)

Argia apicalis (?)

The damselfly shown above was captured in the small town of Columbus, Indiana. Our mom was holding it from its wings, when dad shot the picture. We then shot another picture which shows better the insect's thorax and head (below). We believe it is an Argia apicalis according to its appearance and location found, but we might be wrong. Please email us, if you happen to know better.
